Abraham fell face down. Then he laughed  and said to himself, ‘Can a child be born to a hundred-year-old man? Can Sarah, a ninety-year-old woman, give birth? ’


Then Abram fell face down and God spoke with him:


What you have done so far  was a little thing to you, Lord God, for you have also spoken about your servant’s house in the distant future. And this is a revelation  for mankind, Lord God.


What more can David say to you? You know your servant,  Lord God.


But Moses replied to the Lord, ‘Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent #– #either in the past or recently or since you have been speaking to your servant #– #because my mouth and my tongue are sluggish.’  ,


Moses said, ‘Please, Lord, send someone else.’


Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,


Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Whom shall I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.


So I got up and went out to the plain. The Lord’s glory was present there,  like the glory I had seen by the Chebar Canal,  and I fell face down.


But the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael,  one of the chief princes, came to help me after I had been left there with the kings of Persia.


However, I will tell you what is recorded in the book of truth. (No one has the courage to support me against those princes except Michael,  your prince.


At that time Michael,  the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress such as never has occurred since nations came into being until that time. But at that time all your people who are found written in the book  will escape.


It acted arrogantly  even against the Prince of the heavenly army;  it revoked his regular sacrifice  and overthrew the place of his sanctuary.


Fire came from the Lord and consumed  the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted  and fell face down.


But Moses and Aaron fell face down  and said, ‘God, God who gives breath to all,  , when one man sins, will you vent your wrath on the whole community? ’


‘Get away from this community so that I may consume them instantly.’  But they fell face down.


Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the path with a drawn sword in his hand. Balaam knelt low and bowed with his face to the ground.


The Lord declared to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet”?   ,,


Straight away  a man with leprosy  came up and knelt before him,  saying, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’


How could this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?


For David himself says in the Book of Psalms: The Lord declared to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand


While he was in one of the towns, a man was there who had leprosy  all over him.  He saw Jesus, fell face down, and begged him, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’


Thomas responded to him, ‘My Lord and my God! ’


‘But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.’


More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value  of knowing Christ  Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ


For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God #– #for whom and through whom all things exist #– #should make the pioneer  of their salvation perfect through sufferings.


Then the Lord spoke to Joshua,


Then war broke out in heaven: Michael  and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels also fought,
