11 For I will be with you – this is the  Lord’s declaration – to save you! I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have scattered you; however, I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you justly, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

‘Go and say to David, “This is what the Lord says: I am offering you three choices. Choose one of them, and I will do it to you.” ’


maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin.  But he will not leave the guilty  unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.


‘I am the one, I sweep away your transgressions for my own sake and remember your sins no more.


Devise a plan; it will fail. Make a prediction; it will not happen. For God is with us.  ,


They will fight against you but never prevail over you,  since I am with you to rescue you.’  This is the Lord’s declaration.


Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to rescue you. This is the  Lord’s declaration.


Discipline me, Lord, but with justice – not in your anger, or you will reduce me to nothing.


Then I will make you a fortified wall of bronze to this people. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to save you and rescue you. This is the  Lord’s declaration.


For this is what the Lord says: ‘The whole land will be a desolation, but I will not finish it off.


Go up among her vineyard terraces and destroy them, but do not finish them off. Prune away her shoots, for they do not belong to the  Lord.

Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end.


Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died.  Then I fell face down and cried out loudly, ‘Oh, Lord God!  You are bringing the remnant of Israel to an end! ’


‘Yet I will leave a remnant when you are scattered among the nations, for throughout the countries there will be some of you who will escape the sword.


I will not vent the full fury of my anger; I will not turn back to destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not man, the Holy One among you; I will not come in rage.


Yet in spite of this, while they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject or abhor them so as to destroy them and break my covenant with them, since I am the Lord their God.


See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated ‘God is with us.’


teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,   I am with you always,   to the end of the age.’


For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to hurt you, because I have many people in this city.’


He will not leave you, destroy you, or forget the covenant  with your ancestors that he swore to them by oath, because the Lord your God is a compassionate God.


The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.
