For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King. He will save us.


Lord of Armies, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,  you are God   #– #you alone   #– #of all the kingdoms of the earth.  You made the heavens and the earth.


Now, Lord our God, save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are God  ,  #– #you alone.


With whom will you compare God? What likeness will you set up for comparison with him?


Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men  of Israel. I will help you’ – this is the  Lord’s declaration. Your Redeemer  is the Holy One of Israel.


‘Submit your case,’ says the  Lord. ‘Present your arguments,’ says Jacob’s King.


Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I am the Lord, the first and with the last   #– #I am he.’


I am the Lord. That is my name, and I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.


Now this is what the Lord  says – the one who created you, Jacob, and the one who formed you, Israel   – ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine.


All the nations are gathered together, and the peoples are assembled. Who among them can declare this, and tell us the former things? Let them present their witnesses to vindicate themselves, so that people may hear and say, ‘It is true.’


This is what the Lord, your Redeemer  who formed you from the womb,  says: I am the Lord, who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by myself; who alone spread out the earth;


Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock;  I do not know any.


‘Listen to me, Jacob, and Israel, the one called by me: I am he; I am the first, I am also the last.


This is what the Lord, your Redeemer,  the Holy One of Israel  says: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who leads you in the way you should go.


Indeed, your husband is your Maker   – his name is the Lord  of Armies – and the Holy One of Israel  is your Redeemer; he is called the God of the whole earth.


‘The Redeemer  will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.’ This is the  Lord’s declaration.


Yet you are our Father, even though Abraham does not know us and Israel doesn’t recognise us. You, Lord, are our Father; your name is Our Redeemer from Ancient Times.


Hear the word that the Lord has spoken to  you, house of Israel.


Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of Armies is his name. He will fervently champion their cause so that he might bring rest to the earth, but turmoil to those who live in Babylon.


‘The deceiver is cursed who has an acceptable male in his flock and makes a vow but sacrifices a defective animal to the Lord.  For I am a great King,’ says the Lord of Armies, ‘and my name will be feared among the nations.


Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; inherit the kingdom   prepared for you from the foundation of the world.


Above his head they put up the charge against him in writing: This Is Jesus, the King of the Jews.


See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.


You were shown these things so that you would know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him.


Today, recognise and keep in mind that the Lord is God in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other.


‘Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  ,


And most certainly, the mystery of godliness  is great: He  was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed  on in the world, taken up in glory.


saying, ‘Write   on a scroll   what you see and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.’


‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’  says the Lord God, ‘the one who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.’


‘Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna: Thus says the First and the Last,   the one who was dead and came to life:


I am the Alpha and the Omega,   the first and the last,   the beginning and the end.
