Miriam sang to them: Sing to the  Lord, for he is highly exalted; he has thrown the horse and its rider into the sea.


Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel  is among you in his greatness.’


Indeed, the stars of the sky and its constellations will not give their light. The sun will be dark when it rises, and the moon will not shine.


The moonlight will be as bright as the sunlight, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter   #– #like the light of seven days #– #on the day  that the Lord bandages his people’s injuries and heals the wounds he inflicted.


Your eyes will see the King in his beauty; you will see a vast land.


For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King. He will save us.


How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace, who brings news of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns! ’


Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the  Lord  shines over you.  ,


The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you. The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendour.


Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not fade; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over.


The perimeter of the city will be 9.6 kilometres,  and the name of the city from that day on will be The Lord Is There.’


But the holy ones of the Most High will receive the kingdom and possess it for ever, yes, for ever and ever.”


The kingdom, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom,  and all rulers will serve and obey him.”


The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the  Lord  comes.


The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will cease their shining.


Saviours  will ascend Mount Zion to rule over the hill country of Esau, and the kingdom will be the  Lord’s.


I will make the lame into a remnant, those far removed into a strong nation. Then the Lord will reign over them  in Mount Zion from this time on and for ever.


On that day there will be no light; the sunlight and moonlight will diminish.  ,,


It will be a unique day known only to the Lord,  without day or night, but there will be light at evening.


Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; he is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.


‘Immediately after the distress   of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.


Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.


And do not bring us into    temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.   ,


Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels, a festive gathering,


The seventh angel blew his trumpet,  and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.


Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion,  and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.


Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God,  who is seated on the throne, saying, Amen! Hallelujah!


Then I heard something like the voice of a vast multitude, like the sound of cascading waters,  and like the rumbling of loud thunder, saying, Hallelujah, because our Lord God, the Almighty, reigns!


The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.


Night will be no more;  people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light,  and they will reign for ever and ever.
