Then the Lord said, ‘The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and their sin is extremely serious.


I will go down  to see if what they have done justifies the cry that has come up to me. If not, I will find out.’


Then God said to Noah, ‘I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.


Noah, however, found favour with the Lord.


Then the Lord said to Noah, ‘Enter the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation.


Every creature perished #– #those that crawl on the earth, birds, livestock, wildlife, and those that swarm on the earth, as well as all mankind.


And God said, ‘This is the sign of the covenant  I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all future generations:


He will look at men and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.


The eyes of the  Lord are everywhere, observing the wicked and the good.


and everyone will see the salvation of God.   ,


and if he didn’t spare the ancient world, but protected Noah,  a preacher of righteousness, and seven others,  , when he brought the flood on the world of the ungodly;
