A worker’s appetite works for him because his hunger  urges him on.

What does a person gain for all his efforts that he labours at under the sun?

Then he said to his disciples, ‘Therefore I tell you,   don’t worry about your life, what you will eat; or about the body, what you will wear.

Don’t strive for what you should eat and what you should drink, and don’t be anxious.

also to submit to such people, and to everyone who works and labours with them.

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

If we have food and clothing,  we will be content with these.
