Your Majesty, Araunah gives everything here to the king.’ Then he said to the king, ‘May the Lord your God accept you.’


those who, with their speech, accuse a person of wrongdoing, who set a trap for the one mediating at the city gate and without cause deprive the righteous of justice.


Woe is me, my mother, that you gave birth to me, a man who incites dispute and conflict in all the land. I did not lend or borrow, yet everyone curses me.


Let my persecutors be put to shame, but don’t let me be put to shame. Let them be terrified, but don’t let me be terrified. Bring on them the day of disaster; shatter them with total   destruction.


and complete the days of purification. Then on the eighth day  and afterwards, the priests will offer your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar, and I will accept you.’  This is the declaration of the Lord God.


They hate the one who convicts the guilty at the city gate, and they despise  the one who speaks with integrity.


Whoever listens to you listens to me.   Whoever rejects you rejects me.   And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.’


They will teach your ordinances to Jacob and your instruction to Israel; they will set incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.


He said about Benjamin: The Lord’s beloved rests  securely on him. He  shields him all day long, and he rests on his shoulders.


Consequently, anyone who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
