Proverbs 1:6

He will call to heaven from above, and to the earth, to discern his people.


They have placed the dead bodies of your servants as food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of your saints for the beasts of the earth.


Likewise, these things are for the wise. It is not good to base judgment on knowledge of character.


The words of the wise are like a goad, and like nails deeply fastened, which, through the counsel of teachers, are set forth by one pastor.


And after their reign, when iniquities will be increased, there will arise a king of shameless face and understanding negotiations.


For I speak with him mouth to mouth, and plainly. And not through enigmas and figures does he perceive the Lord. Therefore, why were you not afraid to disparage my servant Moses?"


And he said to them: "To you, it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to those who are outside, everything is presented in parables:


But he did not speak to them without a parable. Yet separately, he explained all things to his disciples.


But solid food is for those who are mature, for those who, by practice, have sharpened their mind, so as to discern good from evil.


just as he also spoke in all of his epistles about these things. In these, there are certain things which are difficult to understand, which the unlearned and the unsteady distort, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
