And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him; for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me.


and keep the charge of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself;


And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.


The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.


He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.


Jehovah taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his lovingkindness.


The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.


The fear of Jehovah tendeth to life; And he that hath it shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.


Let not thy heart envy sinners; But be thou in the fear of Jehovah all the day long:


I searched in my heart how to cheer my flesh with wine, my heart yet guiding me with wisdom, and how to lay hold on folly, till I might see what it was good for the sons of men that they should do under heaven all the days of their life.


I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God hath done it, that men should fear before him.


For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, and in many words: but fear thou God.


For who knoweth what is good for man in his life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?


It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from that withdraw not thy hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth from them all.


Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and prolong his days, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, that fear before him:


Whoso keepeth the commandment shall know no evil thing; and a wise man’s heart discerneth time and judgment:


He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy God?


And his mercy is unto generations and generations On them that fear him.


And now, Israel, what doth Jehovah thy God require of thee, but to fear Jehovah thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Jehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,


Thou shalt fear Jehovah thy God; him shalt thou serve; and to him shalt thou cleave, and by his name shalt thou swear.


the day that thou stoodest before Jehovah thy God in Horeb, when Jehovah said unto me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.


Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.


that thou mightest fear Jehovah thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.


Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.


And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise to our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great.


Only fear Jehovah, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you.
