Genesis 27 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H1961And it came to pass[H8799] H3327, that when IsaacH2204was old[H8804] H5869, and his eyesH3543were dim[H8799] H7200, so that he could not see[H8800] H7121, he called[H8799] H6215EsauH1419his eldestH1121sonH559, and said[H8799] H1121unto him, My sonH559: and he said[H8799]  unto him, Behold, here am I.

H559And he said[H8799] H2204, Behold now, I am old[H8804] H3045, I know[H8804] H3117not the dayH4194of my death:

H5375Now therefore take[H8798] H3627, I pray thee, thy weaponsH8522, thy quiverH7198and thy bowH3318, and go out[H8798] H7704to the fieldH6679, and take[H8798] H6718me some venison[H8675] H6720 ;

H6213And make[H8798] H4303me savoury meatH834, such asH157I love[H8804] H935, and bring[H8685] H398it to me, that I may eat[H8799] H5315; that my soulH1288may bless[H8762] H2962thee beforeH4191I die[H8799] .

H7259And RebekahH8085heard[H8802] H3327when IsaacH1696spake[H8763] H6215to EsauH1121his sonH6215. And EsauH3212went[H8799] H7704to the fieldH6679to hunt[H8800] H6718for venisonH935, and to bring[H8687]  it .

H7259And RebekahH559spake[H8804] H3290unto JacobH1121her sonH559, saying[H8800] H8085, Behold, I heard[H8804] H1thy fatherH1696speak[H8764] H6215unto EsauH251thy brotherH559, saying[H8800] ,

H935Bring[H8685] H6718me venisonH6213, and make[H8798] H4303me savoury meatH398, that I may eat[H8799] H1288, and bless[H8762] H6440thee beforeH3068the LORDH6440beforeH4194my death.

H1121Now therefore, my sonH8085, obey[H8798] H6963my voiceH834according to that whichH6680I command[H8764]  thee.

H3212Go[H8798] H6629now to the flockH3947, and fetch[H8798] H8147me from thence twoH2896goodH1423kidsH5795of the goatsH6213; and I will make[H8799] H4303them savoury meatH1for thy fatherH157, such as he loveth[H8804] :

H935And thou shalt bring[H8689] H1it to thy fatherH398, that he may eat[H8804] H834, and thatH1288he may bless[H8762] H6440thee beforeH4194his death.

H3290And JacobH559said[H8799] H7259to RebekahH517his motherH6215, Behold, EsauH251my brotherH8163is a hairyH376manH2509, and I am a smoothH376man:

H1My fatherH4959peradventure will feel[H8799] H5869me, and I shall seemH8591to him as a deceiver[H8772] H935; and I shall bring[H8689] H7045a curseH1293upon me, and not a blessing.

H517And his motherH559said[H8799] H7045unto him, Upon me be thy curseH1121, my sonH8085: only obey[H8798] H6963my voiceH3212, and go[H8798] H3947fetch[H8798]  me them .

H3212And he went[H8799] H3947, and fetched[H8799] H935, and brought[H8686] H517them to his motherH517: and his motherH6213made[H8799] H4303savoury meatH1, such as his fatherH157loved[H8804] .

H7259And RebekahH3947took[H8799] H2532goodlyH899raimentH1419of her eldestH1121sonH6215EsauH1004, which were with her in the houseH3847, and put them upon[H8686] H3290JacobH6996her youngerH1121son:

H3847And she put[H8689] H5785the skinsH1423of the kidsH5795of the goatsH3027upon his handsH2513, and upon the smoothH6677of his neck:

H5414And she gave[H8799] H4303the savoury meatH3899and the breadH6213, which she had prepared[H8804] H3027, into the handH1121of her sonH3290Jacob.

H935And he came[H8799] H1unto his fatherH559, and said[H8799] H1, My fatherH559: and he said[H8799] H1121, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

H3290And JacobH559said[H8799] H1unto his fatherH6215, I am EsauH1060thy firstbornH6213; I have done[H8804] H1696according as thou badest[H8765] H6965me: arise[H8798] H3427, I pray thee, sit[H8798] H398and eat[H8798] H6718of my venisonH5315, that thy soulH1288may bless[H8762]  me.

H3327And IsaacH559said[H8799] H1121unto his sonH4672, How is it that thou hast found[H8800] H4116it so quickly[H8765] H1121, my sonH559? And he said[H8799] H3068, Because the LORDH430thy GodH7136brought[H8689] H6440it to me.

H3327And IsaacH559said[H8799] H3290unto JacobH5066, Come near[H8798] H4184, I pray thee, that I may feel[H8799] H1121thee, my sonH2088, whether thou be my veryH1121sonH6215Esau or not.

H3290And JacobH5066went near[H8799] H3327unto IsaacH1his fatherH4959; and he felt[H8799] H559him, and said[H8799] H6963, The voiceH3290is Jacob'sH6963voiceH3027, but the handsH3027are the handsH6215of Esau.

H5234And he discerned[H8689] H3027him not, because his handsH8163were hairyH251, as his brotherH6215Esau'sH3027handsH1288: so he blessed[H8762]  him.

H559And he said[H8799] H1121, Art thou my very sonH6215EsauH559? And he said[H8799] , I am .

H559And he said[H8799] H5066, Bring it near[H8685] H398to me, and I will eat[H8799] H1121of my son'sH6718venisonH5315, that my soulH1288may bless[H8762] H5066thee. And he brought it near[H8686] H398to him, and he did eat[H8799] H935: and he brought[H8686] H3196him wineH8354, and he drank[H8799] .

H1And his fatherH3327IsaacH559said[H8799] H5066unto him, Come near[H8798] H5401now, and kiss[H8798] H1121me, my son.

H5066And he came near[H8799] H5401, and kissed[H8799] H7306him: and he smelled[H8686] H7381the smellH899of his raimentH1288, and blessed[H8762] H559him, and said[H8799] H7200, See[H8798] H7381, the smellH1121of my sonH7381is as the smellH7704of a fieldH3068which the LORDH1288hath blessed[H8765] :

H430Therefore GodH5414give[H8799] H2919thee of the dewH8064of heavenH4924, and the fatnessH776of the earthH7230, and plentyH1715of cornH8492and wine:

H5971Let peopleH5647serve[H8799] H3816thee, and nationsH7812bow down[H8691] H1933to thee: be[H8798] H1376lordH251over thy brethrenH517, and let thy mother'sH1121sonsH7812bow down[H8691] H779to thee: cursed[H8803] H779be every one that curseth[H8802] H1288thee, and blessed[H8803] H1288be he that blesseth[H8764]  thee.

H3327And it came to pass, as soon as IsaacH3615had made an end[H8765] H1288of blessing[H8763] H3290JacobH3290, and JacobH389was yetH3318scarce[H8800] H3318gone out[H8804] H6440from the presenceH3327of IsaacH1his fatherH6215, that EsauH251his brotherH935came in[H8804] H6718from his hunting.

H6213And he also had made[H8799] H4303savoury meatH935, and brought it[H8686] H1unto his fatherH559, and said[H8799] H1unto his fatherH1, Let my fatherH6965arise[H8799] H398, and eat[H8799] H1121of his son'sH6718venisonH5315, that thy soulH1288may bless[H8762]  me.

H3327And IsaacH1his fatherH559said[H8799] H559unto him, Who art thou? And he said[H8799] H1121, I am thy sonH1060, thy firstbornH6215Esau.

H3327And IsaacH2729trembled[H8799] H1419veryH3966exceedinglyH2731 H559, and said[H8799] H645, Who? whereH6679is he that hath taken[H8801] H6718venisonH935, and brought[H8686] H398it me, and I have eaten[H8799] H935of all before thou camest[H8799] H1288, and have blessed[H8762] H1288him? yea, and he shall be blessed[H8803] .

H6215And when EsauH8085heard[H8800] H1697the wordsH1of his fatherH6817, he cried[H8799] H1419with a greatH3966and exceedingH4751bitterH6818cryH559, and said[H8799] H1unto his fatherH1288, Bless[H8761] H1me, even me also, O my father.

H559And he said[H8799] H251, Thy brotherH935came[H8804] H4820with subtiltyH3947, and hath taken away[H8799] H1293thy blessing.

H559And he said[H8799] H3588, Is not he rightlyH7121named[H8804] H8034 H3290JacobH6117? for he hath supplanted me[H8799] H2088theseH6471two timesH3947: he took away[H8804] H1062my birthrightH3947; and, behold, now he hath taken away[H8804] H1293my blessingH559. And he said[H8799] H680, Hast thou not reserved[H8804] H1293a blessing for me?

H3327And IsaacH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H6215unto EsauH7760, Behold, I have made[H8804] H1376him thy lordH251, and all his brethrenH5414have I given[H8804] H5650to him for servantsH1715; and with cornH8492and wineH5564have I sustained[H8804] H6213him: and what shall I do[H8799] H645nowH1121unto thee, my son?

H6215And EsauH559said[H8799] H1unto his fatherH259, Hast thou but oneH1293blessingH1, my fatherH1288? bless[H8761] H1me, even me also, O my fatherH6215. And EsauH5375lifted up[H8799] H6963his voiceH1058, and wept[H8799] .

H3327And IsaacH1his fatherH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H4186unto him, Behold, thy dwellingH4924shall be the fatnessH776of the earthH2919, and of the dewH8064of heavenH5920from above;

H2719And by thy swordH2421shalt thou live[H8799] H5647, and shalt serve[H8799] H251thy brotherH7300; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion[H8686] H6561, that thou shalt break[H8804] H5923his yokeH6677from off thy neck.

H6215And EsauH7852hated[H8799] H3290JacobH5921becauseH1293of the blessingH834wherewithH1his fatherH1288blessed him[H8765] H6215: and EsauH559said[H8799] H3820in his heartH3117, The daysH60of mourningH1for my fatherH7126are at hand[H8799] H2026; then will I slay[H8799] H251my brotherH3290Jacob.

H1697And these wordsH6215of EsauH1419her elderH1121sonH5046were told[H8714] H7259to RebekahH7971: and she sent[H8799] H7121and called[H8799] H3290JacobH6996her youngerH1121sonH559, and said[H8799] H251unto him, Behold, thy brotherH6215EsauH5162, as touching thee, doth comfort[H8693] H2026himself, purposing to kill[H8800]  thee.

H1121Now therefore, my sonH8085, obey[H8798] H6963my voiceH6965; and arise[H8798] H1272, flee[H8798] H3837thou to LabanH251my brotherH2771to Haran;

H3427And tarry[H8804] H259with him a fewH3117daysH834, untilH251thy brother'sH2534furyH7725turn away[H8799] ;

H251Until thy brother'sH639angerH7725turn away[H8800] H7911from thee, and he forget[H8804] H6213that which thou hast done[H8804] H7971to him: then I will send[H8804] H3947, and fetch[H8804] H4100thee from thence: whyH7921should I be deprived[H8799] H8147also of you bothH259in oneH3117day?

H7259And RebekahH559said[H8799] H3327to IsaacH6973, I am weary[H8804] H2416of my lifeH6440becauseH1323of the daughtersH2845of HethH3290: if JacobH3947take[H8802] H802a wifeH1323of the daughtersH2845of HethH1323, such as these which are of the daughtersH776of the landH4100, what goodH2416shall my life do me?
