³ H85And AbrahamH6965stood up[H8799] H6440from beforeH4191his dead[H8801] H1696, and spake[H8762] H1121unto the sonsH2845of HethH559, saying[H8800] ,

⁴ H1616I am a strangerH8453and a sojournerH5414with you: give[H8798] H272me a possessionH6913of a buryingplaceH6912with you, that I may bury[H8799] H4191my dead[H8801] H6440out of my sight.

⁶ H8085Hear us[H8798] H113, my lordH430: thou art a mightyH5387princeH8432among usH4005: in the choiceH6913of our sepulchresH6912bury[H8798] H4191thy dead[H8801] H3808; noneH376 H3607of us shall withhold[H8799] H6913from thee his sepulchreH6912, but that thou mayest bury[H8800] H4191thy dead[H8801] .

⁷ H85And AbrahamH6965stood up[H8799] H7812, and bowed[H8691] H5971himself to the peopleH776of the landH1121, even to the childrenH2845of Heth.

¹³ H1696And he spake[H8762] H6085unto EphronH241in the audienceH5971of the peopleH776of the landH559, saying[H8800] H3863, But if thou wilt give it, I pray theeH8085, hear[H8798] H5414me: I will give[H8804] H3701thee moneyH7704for the fieldH3947; take[H8798] H6912it of me, and I will bury[H8799] H4191my dead[H8801]  there.

¹⁶ H85And AbrahamH8085hearkened[H8799] H6085unto EphronH85; and AbrahamH8254weighed[H8799] H6085to EphronH3701the silverH1696, which he had named[H8765] H241in the audienceH1121of the sonsH2845of HethH702, fourH3967hundredH8255shekelsH3701of silverH5674, current[H8802] H5503money with the merchant[H8802] .
