⁴ H3920And we took[H8799] H5892all his citiesH6256at that timeH7151, there was not a cityH3947which we took[H8804] H8346not from them, threescoreH5892citiesH2256, all the regionH709of ArgobH4467, the kingdomH5747of OgH1316in Bashan.

⁵ H5892All these citiesH1219were fenced[H8803] H1364with highH2346wallsH1817, gatesH1280, and barsH6521; beside unwalledH5892townsH3966a greatH7235many[H8687] .

⁶ H2763And we utterly destroyed[H8686] H6213them, as we did[H8804] H5511unto SihonH4428kingH2809of HeshbonH2763, utterly destroying[H8687] H4962the menH802, womenH2945, and childrenH5892, of every city.

⁷ H929But all the cattleH7998, and the spoilH5892of the citiesH962, we took for a prey[H8804]  to ourselves.

²¹ H6680And I commanded[H8765] H3091JoshuaH6256at that timeH559, saying[H8800] H5869, Thine eyesH7200have seen[H8802] H3068all that the LORDH430your GodH6213hath done[H8804] H8147unto these twoH4428kingsH3068: so shall the LORDH6213do[H8799] H4467unto all the kingdomsH5674whither thou passest[H8802] .

²² H3372Ye shall not fear[H8799] H3068them: for the LORDH430your GodH3898he shall fight[H8737]  for you.

²³ H2603And I besought[H8691] H3068the LORDH6256at that timeH559, saying[H8800] ,

²⁴ H136O LordH3069GODH2490, thou hast begun[H8689] H7200to shew[H8687] H5650thy servantH1433thy greatnessH2389, and thy mightyH3027handH410: for what GodH8064is there in heavenH776or in earthH6213, that can do[H8799] H4639according to thy worksH1369, and according to thy might?

²⁵ H5674I pray thee, let me go over[H8799] H7200, and see[H8799] H2896the goodH776landH5676that is beyondH3383JordanH2896, that goodlyH2022mountainH3844, and Lebanon.

²⁶ H3068But the LORDH5674was wroth[H8691] H8085with me for your sakes, and would not hear[H8804] H3068me: and the LORDH559said[H8799] H7227unto me, Let it sufficeH1696thee; speak[H8763] H3254no more[H8686] H1697unto me of this matter.

²⁷ H5927Get thee up[H8798] H7218into the topH6449of PisgahH5375, and lift up[H8798] H5869thine eyesH3220westwardH6828, and northwardH8486, and southwardH4217, and eastwardH7200, and behold[H8798] H5869it with thine eyesH5674: for thou shalt not go over[H8799] H3383this Jordan.

²⁸ H6680But charge[H8761] H3091JoshuaH2388, and encourage[H8761] H553him, and strengthen[H8761] H5674him: for he shall go over[H8799] H6440beforeH5971this peopleH5157, and he shall cause them to inherit[H8686] H776the landH7200which thou shalt see[H8799] .
