H383There areH1400certainH3062JewsH3487whomH4483thou hast set[H8745] H5922overH5673the affairsH4083of the provinceH895of BabylonH7715, ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH479; theseH1400menH4430, O kingH7761, have[H8754] H3809notH2942regardedH5922theeH6399: they serve[H8750] H3809notH426thy godsH3809, norH5457worship[H8750] H1722the goldenH6755imageH6966which thou hast set up[H8684] .

H116ThenH5020NebuchadnezzarH7266in his rageH2528and furyH560commanded[H8754] H858to bring[H8682] H7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH116. ThenH858they brought[H8717] H479theseH1400menH6925beforeH4430the king.

H5020NebuchadnezzarH6032spake[H8750] H560and said[H8750] H6656unto them, Is it trueH7715, O ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH3809, do notH383yeH6399serve[H8750] H426my godsH3809, norH5457worship[H8750] H1722the goldenH6755imageH6966which I have set[H8684]  up?

H3705NowH2006ifH383ye beH6263readyH5732that at what timeH8086ye hear[H8748] H7032the soundH7162of the cornetH4953, fluteH7030, harp[H8675] H7030 H5443, sackbutH6460, psalteryH5481, and dulcimerH3606, and allH2178kindsH2170of musickH5308, ye fall down[H8748] H5457and worship[H8748] H6755the imageH5648which I have made[H8754] H2006; well : but ifH5457ye worship[H8748] H3809notH7412, ye shall be cast[H8729] H8160the same hourH1459into the midstH3345of a burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnaceH4479; and whoH426is that GodH7804that shall deliver[H8755] H4481you out ofH3028my hands?

H7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH6032, answered[H8754] H560and said[H8750] H4430to the kingH5020, O NebuchadnezzarH586, weH3809are notH2818careful[H8750] H8421to answer[H8682] H5922thee inH1836thisH6600matter.

H2006IfH426it be so, our GodH586whom weH6399serve[H8750] H383isH3202able[H8750] H7804to deliver[H8756] H4481us fromH3345the burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnaceH4481, andH7804he will deliver[H8755] H4481us out ofH3028thine handH4430, O king.

H2006But ifH3809notH1934, be it[H8748] H3046known[H8752] H4430unto thee, O kingH383, that we willH3809notH6399serve[H8750] H426thy godsH3809, norH5457worship[H8748] H1722the goldenH6755imageH6966which thou hast set up[H8684] .

H116ThenH5020was NebuchadnezzarH4391full[H8728] H2528of furyH6755, and the formH600of his visageH8133was changed[H8724] H5922againstH7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH6032: therefore he spake[H8750] H560, and commanded[H8750] H228that they should heat[H8749] H861the furnaceH2298oneH7655seven timesH5922moreH1768thanH2370it was wont[H8752] H228to be heated[H8749] .

H560And he commanded[H8754] H2429the mostH1401mightyH1400menH2429that were in his armyH3729to bind[H8742] H7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH7412, and to cast[H8749] H3345them into the burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnace.

H116ThenH479theseH1400menH3729were bound[H8760] H5622in their coatsH6361, their hosen[H8675] H6361 H3737, and their hatsH3831, and their other garmentsH7412, and were cast[H8752] H1459into the midstH3345of the burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnace.

H3606ThereforeH6903 H4481becauseH1836 H4430the king'sH4406commandmentH2685was urgent[H8683] H861, and the furnaceH3493exceedingH228hot[H8752] H7631, the flameH5135of the fireH6992slew[H8745] H479thoseH1400menH1994 H5267that took up[H8684] H7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and Abednego.

H479And theseH8532threeH1400menH7715, ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH5308, fell down[H8754] H3729bound[H8743] H1459into the midstH3345of the burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnace.

H116ThenH5020NebuchadnezzarH4430the kingH8429was astonied[H8754] H6966, and rose up[H8754] H927in haste[H8726] H6032, and spake[H8750] H560, and said[H8750] H1907unto his counsellorsH3809, Did notH7412we cast[H8754] H8532threeH1400menH3729bound[H8743] H1459into the midstH5135of the fireH6032? They answered[H8750] H560and said[H8750] H4430unto the kingH3330, TrueH4430, O king.

H6032He answered[H8750] H560and said[H8750] H1888, LoH576, IH2370see[H8751] H703fourH1400menH8271loose[H8750] H1981, walking[H8683] H1459in the midstH5135of the fireH383, and they haveH3809noH2257hurtH7299; and the formH7244of the fourthH1821is like[H8751] H1247the SonH426of God.

H116ThenH5020NebuchadnezzarH7127came near[H8754] H8651to the mouthH3345of the burning[H8751] H5135fieryH861furnaceH6032, and spake[H8750] H560, and said[H8750] H7715, ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH5649, ye servantsH5943of the most highH426GodH5312, come forth[H8747] H858, and come[H8747] H116hither . ThenH7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH5312, came forth[H8750] H4481ofH1459the midstH5135of the fire.

H324And the princesH5460, governorsH6347, and captainsH4430, and the king'sH1907counsellorsH3673, being gathered together[H8723] H2370, saw[H8751] H479theseH1400menH1655, upon whose bodiesH5135the fireH3809had noH7981power[H8754] H3809, norH8177was an hairH7217of their headH2761singed[H8724] H3809, neitherH5622were their coatsH8133changed[H8754] H3809, norH7382the smellH5135of fireH5709had passed[H8754]  on them.

H5020Then NebuchadnezzarH6032spake[H8750] H560, and said[H8750] H1289, Blessed[H8752] H426be the GodH7715of ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH7972, who hath sent[H8754] H4398his angelH7804, and delivered[H8758] H5649his servantsH7365that trusted[H8702] H5922in himH8133, and have changed[H8745] H4430the king'sH4406wordH3052, and yielded[H8754] H1655their bodiesH3809, that they might notH6399serve[H8748] H3809norH5457worship[H8748] H3606anyH426godH3861, exceptH426their own God.

H4481Therefore IH7761make[H8752] H2942a decreeH3606, That everyH5972peopleH524, nationH3961, and languageH560, which speak[H8748] H7960any thing amiss[H8675] H7955 H5922againstH426the GodH7715of ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH5648, shall be cut[H8725] H1917in piecesH1005, and their housesH7739shall be made[H8721] H5122a dunghillH6903: becauseH3606 H383there isH3809noH321otherH426GodH3202that can[H8748] H5338deliver[H8682] H1836after this sort.

H116ThenH4430the kingH6744promoted[H8684] H7715ShadrachH4336, MeshachH5665, and AbednegoH4083, in the provinceH895of Babylon.
