¹ Clap your hands, all you people.\par Shout with joy to God!\par

² The Lord Most High is awesome.\par He is the Great King over all the earth.\par

³ He helped us defeat other people.\par He put those nations under our control.\par

⁴ God chose our land for us.\par He chose that wonderful land for Jacob,\par the man he loved.\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [286]})\i0 \par

⁵ The Lord goes up \{to his throne\}\par at the sound of the trumpet and horn.\par

⁶ Sing praises to God.\par Sing praises.\par Sing praises to our King.\par Sing praises.\par

⁷ God is the King of the whole world.\par Sing songs of praise. {\cf2\super [287]} \par

⁸ God sits on his holy throne.\par God rules all the nations.\par

⁹ The leaders of the nations meet together\par with the people of the God of Abraham.\par All of the leaders of all the nations\par belong to God.\par God is over them all!\par
