Job 26 - Easy To Read Version

¹ Then Job answered:

² “Bildad, Zophar, and Eliphaz,\par you have really been a big help\par for this tired, weary man!\par Oh yes, you have \{really been an encouragement,\}\par you have really made my weak arms\par strong again!\par

³ Yes, you have given wonderful advice\par to the person with no wisdom!\par You have really shown\par how wise you are! {\cf2\super [47]} \par

⁴ Who helped you say these things?\par Whose spirit inspired you?\par

⁵ “The spirits of dead people shake with fear\par in the waters under the earth.\par

⁶ But God can see clearly into\par that place of death\par Death {\cf2\super [48]} is not hidden from God.\par

⁷ God stretched the northern sky over empty space.\par God hung the earth on nothing.\par

⁸ God fills the thick clouds with water.\par But God doesn’t let that heavy weight\par break the clouds open.\par

⁹ God covers the face of the full moon.\par He spreads his clouds over it\par and hides it.\par

¹⁰ God drew the horizon on the ocean,\par like a circle\par where light and darkness meet.\par

¹¹ The foundations that hold up the sky\par shake with fear\par when God threatens them.\par

¹² God’s power makes the sea calm.\par God’s wisdom destroyed Rahab’s {\cf2\super [49]} helpers.\par

¹³ God’s breath makes the skies clear.\par God’s hand destroyed the snake\par that tried to get away. {\cf2\super [50]} \par

¹⁴ These are only a few\par of the amazing things that God does.\par We only hear a small whisper from God.\par No person can really understand\par
