You can’t do anything about\par what is up in heaven!\par You don’t know anything\par about the place of death.\par


Death and destruction {\cf2\super [58]} say,\par ‘We haven’t found wisdom\par We have only heard rumors about it.’\par


If I had died when I was born,\par I would be at peace now.\par I wish I were asleep and at rest\par


Sexual sin is like a fire that burns\par until it destroys everything!\par It could ruin everything I have ever done.\par


Job, have you ever seen the gates\par leading to the world of the dead?\par Have you ever seen the gates\par leading to that dark place of death?\par


I (God) owe no person anything.\par Everything under heaven belongs to me. {\cf2\super [102]} \par


God moves mountains when he is angry\par and they don’t even know it.\par


Lord, I might try to hide from you and say,\par “The day has changed to night.\par Surely the darkness will hide me.”\par


Lord, if I go up to heaven,\par you are there.\par If I go down to the place of death,\par you are there.\par


Lord, do you do miracles for dead people?\par Do ghosts rise up and praise you?\par No!\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [502]})\i0 \par


The Lord knows everything, even what happens in the place of death. So surely the Lord will know what happens in the hearts and minds of people.


People are just like the grave. That place of death and destruction always wants more than it already has.


Sheol, {\cf2\super [148]} \{the place of death\} is excited\par because you are coming.\par Sheol is waking the spirits of all\par the leaders of the earth for you.\par Sheol is making the kings stand\par from their thrones.\par They will be ready for your coming.\par


He knows hidden secrets\par that are hard to understand.\par Light lives with him,\par so he knows what is in the dark\par and secret places!\par


“Edom, {\cf2\super [3]} I will make you the smallest nation.\par Everyone will hate you very much.\par


Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God. He can clearly see all things. Everything is open before him. And to him we must explain the way we have lived.


The locusts had a ruler. The ruler was the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon. {\cf2\super [69]} In the Greek language his name is Apollyon (Destroyer).
