Thick clouds hide him from us,\par so he can’t see us as he walks\par beyond the edge of the sky.’\par


God spread out his cloud like a blanket.\par God used his column of fire\par to give his people light at night.\par


Thick dark clouds surround the Lord.\par Goodness and justice make his kingdom strong.\par


The people stood away from the mountain while Moses went to the dark cloud where God was.


No person will be allowed to come with you. No person should even be seen any place on the mountain. Even your herds of animals or flocks of sheep will not be allowed to eat grass at the bottom of the mountain.”


God is the only One who never dies. God lives in light so bright that men cannot go near it. No person has ever seen God. No person is able to see God. Honor to God and power forever. Amen.
