But ʜᴇ stands alone, and who can oppose ʜɪᴍ? What ʜɪꜱ soul desires, ʜᴇ does.
There are many plans in a person’s heart, but YHWH’s counsel will prevail.
For YHWH Almighty has planned, and who can stop it? Hɪꜱ hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”
“I, YHWH, do not change. Therefore, sons of Jacob, y’all have not come to an end.
Please come now therefore, and curse this people for me, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that the one who you bless is blessed, and the one who you curse is cursed.”
Balak said to him, “Please come with me to another place, where you may see them. You will see just part of them, not all of them. Curse them from there for me.”
But Balaam answered Balak, “Didn’t I tell you, saying, ‘All that YHWH speaks, that I must do?’”
