But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? And what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.


There are many devices in a man's heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.


There is no wisdom nor understanding Nor counsel against the LORD.


For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?


For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.


come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.


And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.


But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?


And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.


For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
