They returned, and came to En Mishpat (also called Kadesh), and struck all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that lived in Hazazon Tamar.


The voice of YHWH shakes the wilderness. YHWH shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.


Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.


His sister stood at a distance to see what would be done to him.


Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Should I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”


“The south side southward will be from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth Kadesh, to the brook, to the great sea. This is the south side southward.


For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.


Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.


The cloud departed from over the Tent, and Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and saw that she was leprous.

The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
