They only asked that we would remember the poor, which I was also eager to do.


For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command you to open-open your hand to your sibling, to your needy, and to your poor, in your land.


If someone has worldly possessions and sees his sibling in need but closes his heart toward them, how does God’s love remain in that person?
