For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.


And Jesus knowing it, said to them: Why do you trouble this woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.


For the poor you have always with you: and whensoever you will, you may do them good: but me you have not always.


For the poor you have always with you; but me you have not always.


Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me; and as I said to the Jews: Whither I go you cannot come; so I say to you now.


Yet a little while: and the world seeth me no more. But you see me: because I live, and you shall live.


I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father.


But I told you not these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me: Whither goest thou?


And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.


Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.


Only that we should be mindful of the poor: which same thing also I was careful to do.


There will not be wanting poor in the land of thy habitation: therefore I command thee to open thy hand to thy needy and poor brother, that liveth in the land.


He that hath the substance of this world, and shall see his brother in need, and shall shut up his bowels from him: how doth the charity of God abide in him?
