A righteous person respects the life of their animal, but even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.


He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.


The one who has pity on the poor lends to YHWH; ʜᴇ will reward them.


Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor, will also cry out, but not be heard.


He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.


He answered them, “Anyone who has two coats should share with someone who has none, and anyone who has food must do likewise.”


For y’all know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, he became poor for y’all’s sake, so that through his poverty y’all might become rich.


But y’all must not forget to do good and share in fellowship, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.


If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,


and one of y’all tells them, “Y’all go in peace. Y’all be warmed and well fed,” but y’all don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it?


Anyone who says, “I love God,” but hates their sibling, is a liar. For whoever doesn’t love their sibling whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.


Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the child who is born of ʜɪᴍ.
