Before the sun, the light, the moon, and the stars are darkened, and the clouds return after the rain;


For the stars of the sky and its constellations will not give their light. The sun will be darkened in its going out, and the moon will not cause its light to shine.


Then the moon will be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for YHWH Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem; and glory will be before his elders.


All of the stars of the sky will be dissolved. The sky will be rolled up like a scroll, and all its stars will fade away, like a leaf fades from off a vine or a fig tree.


The earth quakes before them. The heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
