When the crowd was sent outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.
He came and took her by the hand and raised her up. The fever left her, and she served them.
Feeling gut-wrenching sympathy, he reached out his hand and touched the man, saying, “I am willing. Be clean.”
Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum!” which translated means, “Little girl, I tell you, get up!”
He took the blind man by the hand and brought him outside the village. He spat on his eyes, laid his hands on him, and asked him, “Do you see anything?”
After crying out and causing him to convulse, it came out of him. The boy became like a corpse, so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”
When he came into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”
The commanding officer took him by the hand, drew him aside, and asked him privately, “What do you have to report to me?”
Then he took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
He gave her his hand and helped her stand her up. Then he called the saints and widows, and he presented her alive.
