Not to us, YHWH, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your lovingkindness, and for your truth’s sake.


As is your name, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness.


Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.


“Y’all come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, so that the name of Israel may will be remembered no more.”


For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.


Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth?’ Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.


But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among which they were, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.


Let the priests, the ministers of YHWH, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, “Spare your people, YHWH, and don’t give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”


Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is YHWH your God?” My eyes will see her. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.


Moses said to YHWH, “Then the Egyptians will hear it! For you brought up this people in your might from among them.


Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came out of the sky, saying, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”


Otherwise the land you brought us out from will say, ‘Because YHWH was not able to bring them into the land that ʜᴇ promised to them, and because ʜᴇ hated them, ʜᴇ has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.’


YHWH said to Joshua, “Get up! Why have you fallen on your face like that?


Oh, Lord, what should I say, after Israel has turned their backs before their enemies?


For YHWH will not forsake ʜɪꜱ people for ʜɪꜱ great name’s sake, because it has pleased YHWH to make y’all ʜɪꜱ own people.
