You hide your face; they are troubled. You take away their breath; they die and return to the dust.


Hɪꜱ spirit departs, and ʜᴇ returns to the earth. In that very day, ʜɪꜱ thoughts perish.


and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.


Y’all must stop trusting in humankind, whose breath is in their nostrils. Why should they be esteemed?


Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.


For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.


What good is it, my siblings, if a person claims to have faith, but has no works? Can that faith save them?


In the same way faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.


But are you willing to learn, O foolish human, that faith apart from works is useless?
