Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him YHWH had given victory to Syria; he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.


If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ then the famine is in the city, and we will die there. And if we sit still here, we also die. So y’all come and let’s surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they let us live, we’ll live, and if they kill us, we will die.”


Now the king was talking with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, “Please tell me all the great things that Elisha has done.”


Why will y’all die, your and your people, by the sword, famine, and plague, as YHWH has said of any nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?


“Why do we sit still? Y’all gather together! Let’s enter into the fortified cities, and let’s be perish there, for YHWH our God has doomed us to perish, and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against YHWH.


The cloud departed from over the Tent, and Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and saw that she was leprous.


YHWH said to Moses, “If her father had only spit-spit in her face, shouldn’t she be ashamed seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.”
