9 Tagairtí Cros  

¶ Therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, even so do ye to them. This is the law and the prophets.


For the law was given by Moses, but favour and verity came by Iesus Christ.


For these commandments: Thou shalt not commit advoutry: Thou shalt not kill: Thou shalt not steal: Thou shalt not bear false witness: Thou shalt not desire: and so forth if there be any other commandment, are all comprehended in this saying: Love thine neighbor as thyself.


For all the law is fulfilled in one word, which is this: Thou shalt love thine neighbour as thyself.


for the end of the commandment is love that cometh of a pure heart and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:


¶ If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture which saith: Thou shalt love thine neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
