¶ When Iesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a certain Centurion,


And the servant of a certain Centurion was sick, and ready to die, whom he made much of.


And they came to Iesus and besought him instantly, saying: He is worthy that thou shouldest do this for him.


And behold there came a man named Iairus (and he was a ruler of the synagogue) and he fell down at Iesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house,


And behold a man of the company cried out saying: Master, I beseech thee behold my son, for he is all that I have:


As soon as the same heard that Iesus was come out of jewry into Galilee he went unto him, and besought him, that he would descend, and heal his son: For he was even ready to die.


I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I begat in my bonds,
