But and if thine eye be wicked, then is all thy body full of darkness. Wherefore if the light that is in thee, be darkness: how great is that darkness?


For if all thy body shall be light, having no part dark: then shall all be full of light, even as when a candle doeth light thee with his brightness.


In it was life, And life was the light of men,


The same came as a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all men through him might believe.


I am come a light into the world that whosoever believeth on me should not bide in darkness,


Iesus said unto him I am the way, the verity, and life. No man cometh unto the father, but by me.


¶ I am the true vine, and my father is an husbandman.


Iesus said unto them: verily, verily I say unto you: Moses gave you not bread from heaven: but my father giveth you the true bread from heaven.


And much murmuring was there of him among the people. Some said: He is good. Other said nay, but he deceiveth the people.


¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and truth is not in us.


Again a new commandment I write unto you, a thing that is true in him, and also in you: for the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.


We know that the son of God is come, and hath given us a mind to know him which is true: and we are in him that is true, through his son Iesu Christ. This same is very God, and eternal life.
