¶ And it fortuned that as I made my journey, and was come nye unto Damascon, about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me,


¶ Ananias went his way and entered into the house and put his hands on him and said: brother Saul, the Lord that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight and be filled with the holy ghost.


But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and told them how he had seen the Lord in the way and had spoken with him: and how he had done boldly at Damascon in the name of Iesu,


¶ And last of all he was seen of me, as of one that was born out of due time.


¶ Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Iesus Christ our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord.


which only hath immortality, and dwelleth in light that no man can obtain, whom never man saw, neither can see: unto whom be honour and rule everlasting Amen.


and the city hath no need of the sun neither of the moon to lighten it. For the brightness of God did light it: and the lamb was the light of it.


And there shall be no more night there and they need no candle, neither light of the sun: for the Lord God giveth them light, and they shall reign for evermore.
