And he shewed us, how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said to him: Send men to Ioppa, and call for Simon, named also Peter
And the time shall come that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
Paul said: I am a man which am a iewe of Tharsus a city in Cicill, a citizen of no vile city, I beseech thee suffer me to licence,
And he said: I am verily a man which am a iewe, born in Tharsus, a city in Cicill, nevertheless yet brought up in this city, at the feet of Gamaliel, and informed diligently in the law of the fathers, and was fervent minded to Godward, as ye all are this same day,
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God that the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
¶ Then the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip saying: Arise and go towards midday unto the way which leadeth from Ierusalem unto Gaza, which is in the desert.
When the brethren knew of that, they brought him to Cesarea, and sent him forth to Tharsus.
