¶ And as the seven days should have been ended, the jewes which were of Asia when they saw him in the temple, they moved all the people and laid hands on him crying:
¶ They gave him audience unto this word, and lifted up their voices and said: away with such a fellow from the earth: it is pity that he should live.
and desired favour against him that he would send for him to Ierusalem, and laid wait for him in the way to kill him.
