Is it good for You to oppress, to despise the work of Your hands, while You smile on the plans of the wicked?


Know that Adonai, He is God. It is He who has made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.


Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding that I may learn Your mitzvot.


Adonai will fulfill His purpose for me. Your lovingkindness, Adonai, endures forever. Do not abandon the work of Your hands.


A contemplative song of Asaph. Why have You cast us off forever, O God? Why does Your anger smolder against the flock of Your pasture?


Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Adonai our Maker.


Why should the Egyptians say, ‘He brought them out to do evil, to slay them in the mountains, and to annihilate them from the face of the earth?’ Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this destruction against Your people.


You are to say to Pharaoh, “This is what Adonai says: ‘Israel is My son, My firstborn.


For Adonai-Tzva’ot has blessed, saying: “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance.”


Your perversity! Should the potter be regarded the same as the clay? Should the thing made say to its maker, “You did not make me”? Or the thing formed say of its former, “You have no understanding?”


I, I am the One who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.


Everyone who is called by My Name, whom I created for My glory. I formed him—yes, I made him!”


Remember these things, Jacob, and Israel, for you are My servant. I formed you, you are My servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!


Thus says Adonai, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am Adonai, Maker of all things, stretching out the heavens alone, spreading the earth abroad by Myself,


Thus says Adonai, the Holy One of Israel and its Maker, “Ask Me about the things to come upon My children. Then you will commit to Me the work of My hands.


Oy , to one who quarrels with his Maker, like a pot among the pots of the earth! Shall the clay say to the potter, “What have you made?” Or does your work say, “It has no handles”?


For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry, for the spirit would grow weak before Me, the breath of those whom I made.


Then your people will all be righteous. They will possess the land forever— the branch of His planting, the work of My hands— that I may be glorified.


For You are our Father— even if Abraham would not know us or Israel not recognize us. You, Adonai, are our Father, our Redeemer— from everlasting is Your Name.


For He said, “Surely they are My people, children who will not deal falsely.” So He became their Savior.


Of the increase of His government and shalom there will be no end— on the throne of David and over His kingdom— to establish it and uphold it through justice and righteousness from now until forevermore. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.


Hear the word of Adonai, O nations, and declare it in the distant islands, and say: ‘He who scattered Israel will gather and watch over him, as a shepherd does his flock.’


Do we not all have one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously —a man against his brother— defiling the covenant of our fathers?


You are doing the deeds of your father.” They said to Him, “We were not born as illegitimate children—we have one Father, God Himself!”


For you are all sons of God through trusting in Messiah Yeshua.


And if you belong to Messiah, then you are Abraham’s seed—heirs according to the promise.


For we are His workmanship—created in Messiah Yeshua for good deeds, which God prepared beforehand so we might walk in them.


Is this how you pay back Adonai, O foolish, unwise people? Isn’t He your Father who ransomed you? He made you and established you.


Yet they are Your people—Your inheritance that You brought out by Your great power and Your outstretched arm.’
