And leaving Nazareth, he went and dwelt at Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,


Then Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


Immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.


After leaving the synagogue, they immediately went to the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.


The whole city was gathered together at the door,


So he was preaching in their synagogues in all of Galilee and casting out demons.


Jesus then rose from there and went to the region of Judea, traveling through the region beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered around him again. And again he taught them, as he was accustomed to do.


A few days later Jesus went to Capernaum again, and the people heard that he was at home.


Once again Jesus went into the synagogue, and a man was there who had a withered hand.


When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? And what is this wisdom that has been given to him, that such miracles are done by his hands?


And yoʋ, Capernaum, who have been exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.


One Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues.


When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom, and stood up to read.


Then Jesus said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb: ‘Physician, heal yoʋrself.’ Do here in yoʋr hometown what we have heard that yoʋ did in Capernaum.”


As was his custom, Paul went in to them, and for three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,


Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue and tried to persuade both Jews and Greeks.
