God's mighty works who can express? or shew forth all his praise?


But I have all my confidence thy mercy set upon; My heart within me shall rejoice in thy salvation.


In thy salvation we will joy; in our God's name we will Display our banners: and the Lord thy prayers all fulfil.


The king in thy great strength, O Lord, shall very joyful be: In thy salvation rejoice how veh'mently shall he!


I will shew forth thy name unto those that my brethren are; Amidst the congregation thy praise I will declare.


Within the congregation great my praise shall be of thee; My vows before them that him fear shall be perform'd by me.


I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, within th' assembly great; And where much people gather'd are thy praises forth will set.


My soul in God shall joy; and glad in his salvation be:


My soul is poured out in me, when this I think upon; Because that with the multitude I heretofore had gone: With them into God's house I went, with voice of joy and praise; Yea, with the multitude that kept the solemn holy days.


Restore me thy salvation's joy; with thy free Sp'rit me stay.


My closed lips, O Lord, by thee let them be opened; Then shall thy praises by my mouth abroad be published.


My soul is also vexed sore; But, Lord, how long stay wilt thou make?


But I for ever will declare, I Jacob's God will praise.


So we thy folk, and pasture-sheep, shall give thee thanks always; And unto generations all we will shew forth thy praise.
