Their mouths they open'd wide on me, upon me gape did they, Like to a lion ravening and roaring for his prey.


Like water I'm pour'd out, my bones all out of joint do part: Amidst my bowels, as the wax, so melted is my heart.


For a reward of this their shame confounded let them be. That in this manner scoffing say, Aha, aha! to me.


In thee let all be glad, and joy, who seeking thee abide; Who thy salvation love, say still, The Lord be magnify'd.


For he hath me delivered from all adversities; And his desire mine eye hath seen upon mine enemies.


Turned back be they, Ha, ha! that say, their shaming to requite.
