Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!


I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites.


I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked.


Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping.


The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.


Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered,


The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.


For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.


To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behaviour and perverse speech.


Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.’


Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”


But I was lowered in a basket from a window in the wall and slipped through his hands.


Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’
