As you come to him, the living Stone – rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him –
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
