Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.


And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.


Behold, you have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from your face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that anyone that finds me shall slay me.


Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:


[To the Chief Musician upon shoshannim – Eduth. A Psalm of Asaph.] Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that lead Joseph like a flock; you that dwell between the cherubim, shine forth.


The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: he sits between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.


Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering.

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from there the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, who dwells between the cherubim: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.
