therefore Jehovah God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.


And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with the help of Jehovah.


Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.


Who maketh winds his messengers; Flames of fire his ministers;


Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest above the cherubim, shine forth.


Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble: He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.


Speak unto the children of Israel, that they take for me an offering: of every man whose heart maketh him willing ye shall take my offering.


Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
