Psalm 81:11

Then he said, Go, borrow you vessels abroad of all your neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.


Moshe and Aharon said to all the children of Yisra'el, *At evening, then you shall know that the LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt;


*I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


When the people saw that Moshe delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aharon, and said to him, *Come, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moshe, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don't know what has become of him.*


Therefore tell the children of Yisra'el, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:


They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof.


Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be said, As the LORD lives, who brought up the children of Yisra'el out of the land of Egypt;


But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.


When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.


But Yeshurun grew fat, and kicked. You have grown fat. You have grown thick. You have become sleek. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.


Of the Rock who became your father, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.


*I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
