*Binyamin is a ravenous wolf. In the morning he will devour the prey. At evening he will divide the spoil.*


Yehudah is a lion's cub. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down, he crouched as a lion, as a lioness. Who will rouse him up?


Twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other on the six steps: there was nothing like it made in any kingdom.


And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the stays.


He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.


The lion, which is mightiest among animals, and doesn't turn away for any;


For thus says the LORD to me, *As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them, so the LORD of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Tziyon and on its heights.

Where is the den of the lions, and the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, the lion's cubs, and no one made them afraid?


The lion tore in pieces enough for his cubs, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his caves with the kill, and his dens with prey.


In that day I will make the chieftains of Yehudah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Yerushalayim will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Yerushalayim.
