Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth. Their heart is destruction. Their throat is an open tomb. They flatter with their tongue.
His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.
The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips. He walked with me in shalom and uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.
*Therefore I have also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according to the way you have not kept my ways, but have had respect for persons in the law.
saying, *Rabbi, Moshe said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.'
He said, *Go into the city to a certain person, and tell him, 'The Rabbi says, *My time is at hand. I will keep the Pesach at your house with my talmidim.*'*
Immediately he came to Yeshua, and said, *Hail, Rabbi!* and kissed him.
As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, *Good Rabbi, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?*
They sent some of the Perushim and of the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
When they had come, they asked him, *Rabbi, we know that you are honest, and don't defer to anyone; for you aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
The Perushim went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
He charged them, saying, *Take heed: beware of the yeast of the Perushim and the yeast of Herod.*
They asked him, *Rabbi, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
Yeshua answered him, *Shim`on, I have something to tell you.* He said, *Rabbi, say on.*

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Messiah.
But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Messiah after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Messiah.
But from those who were reputed to be important (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn't show partiality to man)--they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,
who said of his father, and of his mother, I have not seen him; Neither did he acknowledge his brothers, Nor did he know his own children: For they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the true God, and eternal life.
