Yeshua sent these twelve out, and charged them, saying, *Don't go among the Gentiles, and don't enter into any city of the Shomroni.
Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every city and place, where he was about to come.
But a certain Shomroni, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
It happened as he was on his way to Yerushalayim, that he was passing along the borders of Shomron and the Galil.
He fell on his face at Yeshua's feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Shomroni.
This is he of whom it is written, 'Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.'
So he came to a city of Shomron, called Shekhem, near the parcel of ground that Ya`akov gave to his son, Yosef.
The Shomroni woman therefore said to him, *How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Shomroni woman?* (For Jews have no dealings with Shomroni.)
Then the Judeans answered him, *Don't we say well that you are a Shomroni, and have a demon?*
