who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.


Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can't redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.


Don't you fear me? says the LORD: won't you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it can't pass it? and though the waves of it toss themselves, yet they can't prevail; though they roar, yet they can't pass over it.


He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan languishes, and Karmel; and the flower of Levanon languishes.


But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, *Lord, save me!*


They came to him, and woke him up, saying, *Save us, Lord! We are dying!*


He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, *Shalom! Be still!* The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.


Yeshua rebuked him, saying, *Be silent, and come out of him!* When the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.


He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.


Shim`on answered him, *Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.*


He said to them, *Where is your faith?* Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, *Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?*
