God remembered Noach, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the teivah; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.


Then the channels of the sea appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare by the rebuke of the LORD, At the blast of the breath of his nostrils.


and said, 'Here you may come, but no further. Here shall your proud waves be stayed?'


At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.


He rebuked the Sea of Suf also, and it was dried up; so he led them through the depths, as through a desert.


The sea saw it, and fled. The Yarden was driven back.


What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Yarden, that you turned back?


He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.


You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.


The land mourns and languishes. Levanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Karmel are stripped bare.


I will destroy mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs. I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.


who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers;


Isn't it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?


I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I, the LORD, have spoken it.


so that the fish of the sea, and the birds of the sky, and the animals of the field, and all creeping things who creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the surface of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

seek him who made the Kima and Kesil, and turns the shadow of death into the morning, and makes the day dark with night; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the LORD is his name,


He said to them, *Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?* Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.


that the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap, a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Tzaretan; and those that went down toward the sea of the `Aravah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off: and the people passed over right against Yericho.
