How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes shalom, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Tziyon, Your God reigns!
But if you will not hear these words, I swear by myself, says the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
therefore thus says the LORD, the God Tzeva'ot, the God of Yisra'el: Behold, I will bring on Yehudah and on all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered.
Therefore Tziyon for your sake will be plowed like a field, and Yerushalayim will become heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.
I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.
For I will gather all nations against Yerushalayim to battle; and the city will be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go out into captivity, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.

*Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Yerushalayim will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and cried out, *Hoshia`na! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Yisra'el!*
