After many days, Shu`a's daughter, the wife of Yehudah, died. Yehudah was comforted, and went up to his sheepshearers to Timnah, he and his friend Chirah, the `Adullami.


Yehudah sent the kid of the goats by the hand of his friend, the `Adullami, to receive the pledge from the woman's hand, but he didn't find her.


Three of the thirty chief men went down, and came to David in the harvest time to the cave of `Adullam; and the troop of the Pelishtim was encamped in the valley of Refa'im.


It fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. So it was, that as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.


One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
